Candy

I created this pencil and colored pencil in my drawing class in my senior year of high school. I used a hatching style that I developed that year into this piece. My focus during my senior year of high school was creating emphasis in my pieces by only have the colored pencil in one section. For this artwork, the focus was on the geode. I would take two unrelated items and find certain parts of each like their shape for example to tie the two together.
